The Automatic Packoff Seal Advantage
The key feature of the C-22 is its integrated automatic packoff seal. Unlike non-automatic hangers that require a separate seal assembly, the C-22's sealing element is built directly into the hanger body. The seal is primarily energized by the weight of the casing string as it is landed, which compresses the seal to create a secure barrier. Lock screws provide a secondary energizing mechanism.
